What’s a Damp & Timber report?
Damp and timber reports are specialist reports usually requested by your mortgage lender (for mortgages, re-mortgages and equity release) to ensure the property is free from excessive damp and wood rot, prior to the release of any approved funds.
Otherwise, if a property is left un-checked of damp issues, this may cause you problems later on down the road once you have completed on the sale and moved in. An unfavourable position for any lender and property owner.
Having a damp and timber report will give you peace of mind in knowing what you are buying is sound and solid.

How to Book a Survey

1. We will then contact you to arrange a suitable survey date and get details of the estate agent if required to arrange access.
2. We visit the property at the agreed time to undertake the survey, and email over your Damp and Timber Report the next working day.
