With temperatures plummeting in recent weeks, our surveyors and installers have been busy trying to help as many clients as possible with tackling their condensation and mould issues.

With condensation season now upon us, it is vital to keep your property well ventilated to prevent the build-up of moisture in your homes, especially the condensing on cold surfaces such as windows, ceilings and external walls.

On a recent damp inspection on a three bedroom semi detached in Glossop, our surveyor discovered mould forming on the external walls and ceiling edges in both of the front bedrooms. With our client understandably concerned, we discussed a number of possible solutions to their problem.

After a lengthy chat on how to improve the mould issue by making a few simple changes, we also decided on a more permanent solution; the installation of a loft mounted PIV unit.

After our first initial visit, our expert ventilation team was on site less than 5 days later carrying out the full installation, with our new ventilation system in place our client can rest assure of a damp and mould free environment.

Really impressed by the service from Damp Solutions. The original qoute provided by Dale was very reasonable and came with a detailed report of the damp proofing work that needed doing and what was involved.The work was carried out by Kane and the team who did a great job. Very curtious, tidy, and efficient. I even managed to work from home throughout the week while they were here! Left the place nice and clean afterwards too - couldn't recommend them highly enough.
